Our board and project team are fortunate to be ably assisted by Bettina Anderson of Pukeko Blue Communications and Emmanuel Yiannoutsos of Emmanuel Design. Throughout 2007, Bettina and Emmanuel assisted Horizons Manawatu develop The Green Rig (www.greenrig.co.nz) a mobile environmental classroom, operating throughout the Manawatu region.
In addition to this core team, we have a large caste of specialist consultants helping us.
Sarah Painter is currently working on our educational material and the key task of linking the exhibits to the New Zealand curricula.
Ilai Amir (Connected Media) has done an excellent job of putting together this website.
Peter Millward (Nelson Museum) provided invaluable support in the early stages describing exactly what does and doesn’t make a great exhibit.
Hilary Tolley continues to act as editor extraordinare and general advisor on everything from tapping into contestible funds through to good governance practices.
Annette Lusk provides us with excellent advice on how best to get the attention of New Zealand corporates who may see the value in sponsoring our wonderful project.
Brent Bielby (Auckland City Council) is a regular source of valuable feedback and great ideas.
Most importantly – on the educational front - dozens of young people and their teachers at MeadowBank School, Gladstone Primary, The One Day School, Epsom Normal Primary School and Murrays Bay Intermediate have used their imaginations to create great ideas for our educational exhibits.
The entire environmental education group at the Auckland Regional Council and also at Education for Sustainability have provided ongoing support and wonderful creative input into the educational design of our exhibits - including Hilary Chidlow, Bridget Glasgow, Kate Jackson, Cate Jessop and Sara Sheeran,
Then there are all of those amazing talented practitioners who share a similar vision that we can create a world which is about caring for our planet and for each other. These include Frank Olsson, Leanne Holdsworth, Nick Jones, Brendan Hoare, Nick Collins, Rachel Brown, Carl Chenery and lots more.
