Schools - Booking

Please check our schedule to see when the TLC is available to visit your school. Please allow about six weeks lead time. The TLC visit is designed to be part of an educational unit, including pre and post-visit learning activities and project work.

As our environmental educators will visit your school before and after your TLC visit , please allow sufficient time for the pre-visit work when making your booking.

Once you have preferred dates, please complete our School Booking Form below.

Our educator will supply a full educational package including pre-visit project work, information about all of our exhibits, educational messages and also follow-up project work.

The pre-visit project work is optional, but highly recommended to ensure optimum educational outcomes from the children’s visit to the TLC.

About four weeks after you visit the TLC, one of our educators will come to your classroom and talk about the post-visit project material and our “Making it Stick” programme. The “Making it Stick” programme is available on our web site and is full of great games and competitions designed to make sure that the learning experienced by children during their visit to the TLC is reiterated and enhanced.

We can discuss this followup further while you are visiting the TLC.
