the caravan tour
Our Tread Lightly Caravan (TLC) is a purpose-built trailer with a sloping roof so we can catch rainwater and solar panels to harness energy from the sun.
The TLC is currently being towed to Auckland schools by the Auckland Towing Co Limited but our long term plan is to have our own four-wheel drive vehicle powered by a combination of diesel and bio-diesel manufactured from pig waste.
Once the TLC gets to its location we open our awnings to create more space.
Visitors are then able to interact with the exhibits in three different areas.
The inside of the TLC houses our computer exhibits (My Driving Day and the Environmental Footprint) plus our Video Microscope.
